Urban Arts
Join us for an Indigenous-focused art program that will touch base on the historic place trail of Weston and reclaim stories of the land that was before the rush of important intersections such as Weston and Lawrence. The artist spotlight and program will be hosted by Star Nahwegahbo, who will discuss the importance of storytelling accompanied by a colouring page and videos on the Humber River. (The video is available to view on the YPA website)
When: Thursday, November 25
Time: 6-8 PM Where: Artscape Weston Common, 34 John Street (UA Studio)An artist talk, interactive colouring page will be available and free to attend on November 25 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
UA will be providing snacks, warm beverages ☕🍿🍩🍪, a set of markers and the colouring pages🎨
